Olivia,
What an "amazing grace" shot.
I just saw this on Flickr & came right over.
What a great capture.
A one in a brazilian,shot.

It`s wonderful that you finally solved the mystery of the grave robin.
Some people spend their lives in cubicles....
And most are dying to go to these, where there`s always an early bird special. (for the bird)

This is fantastic Olivia.

Awesome, beautiful, moving, sad, elegant, stark ... well I could go on and on and still fall short of describing all the things this picture is.

I'm always amazed and impressed by your eye, O - that you see these incredible shots in the first place, and then can capture them as you do. Thanks for bringing beauty to my life every day (just like you, 'head!)!

wow, don't know the words to describe my impression of this, something ethereal about the tombstones and the bird appears to be watching over the souls that have passed. The bird appears a stark reality amongst the ghost of tombstones.

Brilliant shot. You have such a great eye for photography and are an expert at capturing a shot just the right way. If you're not already a professional photographer, you should be.

How did you think to take this in the way you took it? The creative mind is a mystery to me. It is exquisite.

this is a really stunning image. one of your best, imo.

great use of the foreshortening aspect of a long lens.

the uniformity of colour and texture and repetitive forms of the markers, and especially the highlighted tops are wonderful…the addition of the robin creates an eerie, surreal quality.

exceptionally well done, technically and visually.

kudos.

What a story that tells… the first robin is the harbinger of spring in many places… and spring is associated with rebirth… so a solitary robin in a graveyard is a sign of the resurrection?

That is amazing! Because the stones are so regularly placed, it actually took a second for my eyes to recognize what they were. This is really a special shot.
